The personal data gathered in the registration form are processed to provide the services you online requested and it are also used, with your permission, to send you information and promotional material on services offered by General Logistics Systems Italy S.p.A. (“GLS Italy”) and in order to communicate them to companies belonging to GLS Italy group franchisees and commercial partners operating in the automotive, insurance and media areas, in order to send you information and promotional material about their products/services. Those purposes will be pursued through a automated and non-automated means (email, text messages, postal mail, etc.). On the basis of a legitimate interest under article 47 of the GDPR, GLS Italy may also email you with information and promotional material about products and services similar to those you subscribed to; you can object at any time by contacting the address below. The data are also processed, in anonymised form, for statistical purposes. Given the nature of the data and the reasons for processing them, it is mandatory to provide the personal data required in the boxes marked with an asterisk in order for us to supply the services described, therefore, the legal basis of the processing is the execution of the service expressly requested. We cannot supply those services without that data. It is entirely up to you, however, whether to provide the information in fields that are not marked with an asterisk or whether to consent to receiving marketing and promotional messages from GLS Italy and third parties. The data are processed by computer and on paper in ways strictly connected to the above purposes. Our server also sends some text files (cookies) to your computer. Your data may be communicated to the competent public authorities in order to meet legal obligations, to comply with orders from those authorities, or to assert or defend a right in a court. Also, to perform the activities stated in this information notice, we may communicate your data on to companies responsible locally for providing the services offered by GLS Italy, as well as to the subjects indicated in the Internet Privacy Policy. They will handle the data as Data Processors or independent Data controllers. For international shipments, where necessary, your data may be sent outside the European Union in order to provide the services you requested online. You may exercise the rights referred to in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, where applicable, including the right to request access to data, rectification of data, limitation of processing, cancellation, opposition to processing. You can also, for legitimate reasons, object to your data being processed. You can always exercise your right to object, even in part, to being sent commercial and advertising material.
